In 2022, "Up All Night" came out of nowhere as Stardust Sonata’s first attention grabbing single - no buzz, no platform, no crowd waiting. Just a song that refused to be ignored. It pulled Stardust Sonata out of the basement and into sold-out rooms across Atlanta, with promoters and venues across the Southeast suddenly paying attention to a band nobody had heard of months before.
Born out of the 2020 downtime, Stardust Sonata began as Elgin Moore, Dillon Byrd, Devon Richir, and Jason Watkins - four musicians who linked up through past projects to make rock that's fun, loud, and built to be heard live. Blues, funk, metal, and garage rock collide into their own brand of guitar-driven rock and roll.
Stardust moved with no hesitation. They birthed the band's debut album, Create the Sun the foundation everything else was built on before unloading two hard-hitting EPs back to back: Nightcrawlers in 2024 and Daybreak in 2025, feeding the streets as their fanbase kept climbing.
Since then, the band has earned its stripes across Atlanta and North Georgia, sharing stages with national acts and local favorites alike, big rooms and small.
In 2026, Stardust Sonata entered a new chapter. Elgin and Dillon, now the band's sole creative architects, handle songwriting and studio recordings - Elgin on vocals and drums, Dillon on guitar and bass - keeping the creative process raw and intentional.
